Is this really free? What is the catch?

Your profile is free. Always. No credit card, no trial period, no hidden charges. The core features — your profile page, enquiries, and verified reviews — will remain free. If we introduce advanced features in the future, they will be optional paid add-ons. We will give every teacher fair notice well before anything changes.
Do I need to be a certified yoga teacher?

We strongly encourage it — certifications build trust with students and we recommend adding them to your profile. However, we do not hard-require a specific TTC certificate. What matters most is that your experience is real and your profile is genuine. Every profile is manually reviewed before it goes live.
Do I need a website or technical knowledge?

No. Yogaboomi replaces the need for a website entirely. If you can fill a form and upload a photo from your phone, you are done.
What happens after I register?

You will get a welcome email with next steps. Complete your profile — add your photo, bio, teaching style, location, and fees. Once you submit for review, we check it manually and publish it, usually within 24 hours. After that, your profile is live on Google and students can start finding you.
What is the student joining form?

Every teacher gets a shareable link. When a student fills the form, you get their full profile: name, age, health history, yoga background, and goals — all in one place before the first class. No more "tell me about yourself" on day one.
Finding students
How do students actually find me on Google?

Your profile page is structured with proper SEO so Google can index it. When a student searches for a yoga teacher in your city, your profile can appear in the results. You can also share your Yogaboomi link on Instagram, WhatsApp, or anywhere — it looks far more professional than a plain Instagram link.
Can I teach online, in-person, or both?

All three options are supported. You set your teaching mode on your profile. If you teach online, you can reach students across India, not just your city.
How many enquiries can I expect?

We will not promise a number — it depends on your city, profile quality, and reviews. What we can say: a complete profile with a good photo and verified reviews will always outperform an incomplete one. The platform is growing and teachers who join early will benefit as student traffic increases.
How does Yogaboomi help me get more students?

We don't send you leads or run ads on your behalf. Yogaboomi gives you a professional profile page that shows up on Google when students are already searching for a teacher in your city. Think of it like this: we give you the shop front. Students who are already walking down that street can find you.
Reviews and credibility
How do verified reviews work?

You share a review link with your existing students. They write their experience and verify their email before the review goes live. This means every review on your profile is from a real person — no fake reviews. Your star rating appears on your profile and in Google search results.
What does the student dashboard show me?

You see all your students in one place: Pending (filled the joining form, waiting for your approval), Active (enrolled), and Past. You can approve, reject, add notes, and track payment confirmation. Nothing slips through.
I am a new teacher with no reviews yet. Will my profile still be useful?

Yes. A profile with no reviews is still far better than no profile at all. The moment your first student leaves a review, it shows up on Google with a star rating next to your name. Most teachers on the platform started with zero reviews — start with what you have and build from there.
About us and trust
Are you a middleman between me and my students?

No. Yogaboomi is a platform, not an agency. We help students find you — after that, everything is directly between you and them. You talk to your students directly, set your own fees, and collect your own payments. We do not get involved in your classes, your schedule, or your pricing. Ever.
Do you take commission on my fees or payments?

No commission, ever. Every enquiry goes directly to you. Every payment between you and your student is entirely yours. We do not take a cut of anything.
Who is behind Yogaboomi? Can I trust this?

Yogaboomi is built by a small team who saw firsthand how hard it is for independent yoga teachers to get discovered online. We are early stage — which means you are one of the first teachers on here and your profile gets more visibility as a result. Every teacher profile is manually reviewed before it goes live. Since there is no payment involved, there is no financial risk to joining.
Is my phone number visible on my profile?

No. Your phone number is never shown publicly. Students contact you through the enquiry form and you receive their details by email. You decide if and when to share your number with them.
Can I remove my profile if I change my mind?

Yes. Write to us at hello@yogaboomi.com and we will take it down within 24 hours, no questions asked.
What if the platform shuts down?

That is a fair concern and we respect it. We are a small but committed team building this for the long term. If anything ever changes, we will give teachers maximum notice. Since there is no payment involved right now, there is no financial risk to joining. The worst case is you have a professional profile page for a while — which costs you nothing.
